Banks Lake is a 27-mile-long reservoir in central Washington state, USA, created by the Grand Coulee Dam on the Columbia River. The lake is located in Grant County and is a popular destination for fishing, boating, and camping. Banks Lake also offers opportunities for watersports such as kayaking and paddleboarding. The eastern half of the lake lies in the Spokane Indian Reservation. The area around Banks Lake is home to a variety of wildlife such as bald eagles, deer, and coyotes. The Grand Coulee Dam Visitor Center offers tours of the dam and provides information about the history of the area.
